DaVinci Trivia League: Last Week’s Winners
DaVinci Trivia League:
June 20th Winners
First Place: Always Late with 205 points
2nd Place: Titanic Swim Team with 165 points
3rd Place: Classic Vinyl with 140 points
It was a battle royal between 7 hungry teams seeking to crush the competition.
Our reigning champs, the "Spider Monkies," returned with the mindset that
June 20th's trivia night would be a piece of cake; however, they soon would
discover that was not the case!
"Always Late" had disappeared for a while, but have become DaVinci Trivia
Night regulars again. They were having a serious discussion about a trivia
question related to Star Wars.
Long live the Divas! They always seem to live up to their team name. As usual,
they were contesting and questioning everything. Host, Stephen, was giving
out random bonus points, and the "Dynamic Divas" wanted in on the action too!
The "Turd Rangers" were having a tough time with the catch-up question:
"Name the characters of the original Star Trek series." It was a really close
game all during the first half!
Newcomers, "Bad Decisions," were gunning for the free pitcher of beer, and
everyone was huddled up to get as many answers as possible to the catch-up
question! These Ga. State students were in no mood to play around!
By the end of the first half, "Always Late" rocked it out with the most points!
They were ready for a nice cold pitcher of the good stuff!
"Titanic Swim Team" had a really tough time during the first half, but they
buckled down during the catch-up question and got caught up in points.
The 2nd half of trivia night was their time to shine!
"Spider Monkies" had remained rather quiet most of trivia night as they
were not doing so hot. Host, Stephen Hanthorn, stopped by their table
to offer some clues.
The "Dynamic Divas" spoke and Stephen listened. There were several of their
requested categories utilized throughout June 20th's DaVinci Trivia Night.
They were very excited to see a question related to Eddie Murphy movies.
"Always Late" was on fire during June 20th's DaVinci Trivia Night! However,
they didn't take any question lightly, and they huddled up to make sure they
finished up the 2nd half of trivia night with a bang!
stump everyone: "Which U.S. president was the first to have a telephone
in the White House?"
It was rather ironic that "Bad Decisions" made the decision to go all in on the
final question. In the end, they lost all their points, but they toasted to having
a great time anyways. Now, that's team spirit!
