July 18th's DaVinci Trivia Night was a rockin good time as 5 teams joined
us to compete for the gold!  Newcomers, the "Tooth Mechanics,"  were having
a serious discussion over the "In the News" category. 

A local beer rep. from the Lazy Magnolia brewery stopped by to see if the 
rumors about the best trivia in Atlanta were true.  Of course, her expectations
were exceeded!    

"Turd Rangers" were having a great night on July 18th!  It was a challenge for
them during the halt time catch-up question; thus, everyone at the table was
attempting to make a contribution.  

"Always Late" really gets into the DaVinci Trivia spirit!  Every question is a
serious debate, so stay out of the crossfire! 

By the end of the first half of trivia night, the "Spider Monkies" were in the lead
with 85 points.  They actually passed on the free pitcher of beer and chose our
delicious cheese sticks appetizer instead.  

The 2nd half of trivia night started off with a "When they were Young" category.
"Tooth Mechanics" were attempting to apply various techniques to see if they
could discover whose celebrity childhood photo was on the screen.    

"Spider Monkies" never hesitate to haggle with host, Stephen Hanthorn, for
clues of any kind.  Although, they had the lead at the half, "Turd Rangers"
were not too far behind in points.  

"Turd Rangers" never hesitate to pose for the camera!  Say cheese!

The catch-up category during the 2nd half had all the teams huddling up to
get as many answers as possible.  They had to name all the purchasable 
properties in the game, monopoly.  

The final category, "Harry Potter," had several teams get very excited to wager
all their points; however, "Always Late" seemed a little unsure of the best route
to take.  "Harry Potter" was not their favorite category.  

"Titanic Swim Team" had one team member, who claimed to be a resident expert
on the Harry Potter series.  Stephen was called over to their table as this expert
was immediately ready to turn in her answer.      

"Spider Monkies" wagered too many points and got the answer wrong on the
final question.  However, they did take 3rd place with a whopping 4 points.  
The "Spider Monkies" still have the top spot on the trivia leaderboard.   

The ever-so comical & animated "Always Late" took 2nd place with 200 points.
They were wise enough to wager very few points on the final category.  They
now have moved into 2nd place on the trivia leaderboard!
