Taste of the Season 2013/2014
Taste of the Season is the Alliance Theatre’s annual kick-off event, which introduces the media, season ticket holders, donors, board members, and the general public to their 2013/2014 season. The event includes a sneak peak of performances from their upcoming productions in the 2013/2014 season followed by a reception featuring many of their preferred vendors. Of course they asked us to participate again this year, and we were happy to oblige! The event was a huge success for us, and we look forward to being there again next year!
DaVinci Trivia League Season 2:
May 15th Winners
First Place: Turd Rangers with 250 points
2nd Place: Deep Fried Hippies with 110 points
3rd Place: Chris’s Mom with 50 points
We had a packed house during May 15th's DaVinci Trivia Night! 9 teams were
settled in and ready for some trivia action! 
Newcomers, "Two-Hearted," were excited to be joining us for trivia, and host,
Courtney Hodges-Lanius, was there to welcome them to the best trivia night
in the City of Atlanta.
Newcomers, "Chris's Mom," were back for the 2nd week in a row! Davinci Trivia
is like Pringles Chips: "Once you pop...you just can't stop!" 
"Pup N' Suds" was down a few members this week, and host, Courtney Hodges-
Lanius, came by to help them out with a few clues. 
Newcomers, "Gumpleton Dimpleton," were a group of out-of-towners that had
heard the rumors about the best trivia in Atlanta, and decided to see what all
the fuss was about!
DaVinci Trivia is like an old buddy that you haven't seen in a while. "The
Panthers" returned to play trivia after being gone for nearly a year. We were
glad to have them on board!
The first half was coming to a close, and the "B-Team" was getting amped up! 
"Chris's Mom" huddled up during the half-time catch up question. That free
pitcher of beer was calling their name! 
By the end of the first half, the "B-Team" claimed their free pitcher of beer as they
had maintained the lead in points. 
It was a special kind of trivia night as it was Chad of "Turd Rangers" last night in
town. He took a job in Maryland, and we were all sad to see him go. Adam of
"Turd Rangers" gave a quick solute before the start of the 2nd half. 
Tara, Chad's girlfriend, brought everyone on the team some fancy cupcakes!
Needless to say, everyone was ready to dig in! 
The "B-Team" had called Courtney over during the 2nd half to see if they could
get a few clues. They were hoping to put an end to the "Turd Rangers" winning
streak.
Everyone looked up at the screen as it was time to start the "Speed Round" of
questions! Each team gets only 60 seconds to turn in their answer. 
"Turd Rangers" were going strong during the 2nd half! It was still anyone's game! 
"The Panthers" huddled up as the final question was revealed. 
"Turd Rangers" were announced as the victors of May 15th's trivia night! Thus,
they decided to do a little victory dance for the camera! 
"Chris's Mom" pulled out a 3rd place victory with 50 points! Not too shabby for
their 2nd week playing trivia!
"Deep Fried Hippies" were super excited to be back on the winning side as they
won 2nd place with 110 points!
"Turd Rangers" continue to dominate as this was their 3rd victory in a row with
250 points! Congrats guys!

The only thing that Brian loves more than his backwards hat is his only weakness: Alicia. Brian can do it all, and if you stop by our Smyrna location…you might just catch this guy in action!

May 8th Winners
First Place: Turd Rangers with 207 points
2nd Place: The B-Team with 165 points
3rd Place: Pup N’ Suds with 60 points
Those crazy "Turd Rangers"...always hammin' it up for the camera! It was a
beautiful day to play trivia as 7 teams were prepared to do what it takes to
win it all! 
"Deep Fried Hippies" have now declared war on the "Turd Rangers," and will now
stop at nothing to defeat them in battle! They are always the first team to arrive
so they can claim their lucky table! 
Host, Courtney Hodges-Lanius, came by to greet newcomers, "Magnificent
Rhinos," and welcome them to the best trivia in town! 
The "B-Team" was getting fired up during the first half! They can often smell a
victory coming from a mile away!
"Deep Fried Hippies" came by the host's table to check in on facebook! Those
extra bonus points can often mean the difference between winning and losing. 
"Turd Rangers" were hungry for another victory this week and they were hoping
to start with the ever-so-popular free pitcher of beer. 
The first half was coming to a close as everyone turned in their answers for the
half-time catch up question. The tension was building as host, Courtney
Hodges-Lanius, prepared to announce the winner at the half!
It was a sweet victory for the "Turd Rangers" as they claimed the free pitcher of
beer, but the 2nd half of trivia night was only beginning! 
Courtney came by to welcome newcomers, "3 white guys & 1 asian dude," as they
joined us for trivia during the 2nd half.
"Deep Fried Hippies" may step out for a smoke break, but they never miss a
moment of trivia! 
Everyone gathered as the "Speed Round" of questions kicked in! Each team has
only 60 seconds to turn in their answers before the buzzer goes off!
"Pup N' Suds" was rockin' and rollin' during the speed round! 
The "B-Team" got psyched as the final answer was called! It would seem evident
that they had claimed first place.....but did they? 
"Pup N' Suds" claimed 3rd place with a solid 60 points during May 8th's
DaVinci Trivia Night! 
The "B-Team" wound up in 2nd place with 165 points, and still maintain the
record for longest time spent in the No. 2 spot on the Season 2 scoreboard.
"Turd Rangers" won it all this week with 207 points, and have begun a 2 week
winning streak that they hope to continue next week!
